Call for Leadership Positions – Second Round!

Hello everyone!

As promised, this is our second call for leadership applications. There are now only two positions open for the Fall 2010 term, however we are also accepting applications for the Winter 2011 term, for those who will be away for fall due to co-op or other reasons. A description of all positions can be found at this link: Board of Directors.

Positions for Fall 2010:
- Director of Marketing and Communications
- Director of Social Affairs

Positions for Winter 2011:
- Operations Coordinator
- Director of Education
- Director of Marketing and Communications
- Director of Social Affairs
- Tuesday Movie Mayhem Facilitator

How to apply:
To apply for any of these positions, please send the three following items to glow {at} feds.uwaterloo(.)ca. These items will be used as the preliminary selection criteria for candidates, and an interview process will subsequently be used if needed.
1) Paragraph detailing any past involvement with GLOW (or other queer organization if applicable) and why you think you would be a good candidate for the position.
2) Upcoming term(s) for which you will be available (i.e. Fall 2010, Winter 2011, and/or Spring 2011). Preference will be given to those able to serve multiple terms.
3) Resume

Applications are due on Sunday, August 29th at 11:00pm.

I’d like to mention again what a great opportunity being a leader within GLOW presents. I know the prospect of being a “Director” may seem a little daunting but honestly the hardest part is just taking that first step and applying!
