The GLOW Wednesday Night Discussion group on May 20th, 2009 is canceled due to extenuating circumstances.

In lieu of discussion group this Wednesday, the AfterGLOW Social will be starting earlier at the Grad House on UW campus at 7:30pm instead of 8:45pm.

Our Wednesday night discussion group will resume as usual next week on May 27. Check the discussion group page on the website for updates this week on discussion topic changes!

Due to a winter storm warning issued by Environment Canada, the GLOW Wednesday Night Discussion Group for February 6th is cancelled. The Board of Directors Meeting is still scheduled for its regular time in PAS 3005 at 6:00pm with optional attendance for Directors.

Wednesday Discussion Group Room Change

Starting this week, the discussion group held in HH 373 on Wednesday has been changed to PAS 3005 (directly south-west of HH). The discussion group will still start at the same time which is 7:15pm.

The GLOW Wednesday Night Discussions Groups will once again be held from September 13th through to December 20th (we will be taking a break the week of December 27th for the holiday season). All Discussion Groups will meet in Hagey Hall, Room 373/378 (these are two connected rooms- we use either the large or small room, depending on the number of participants).

GLOW Discussion Groups Running Throughout Spring Term!

The GLOW Wednesday Night Discussion Groups are indeed running each and every Wednesday throughout the Spring 2006 Term (May 2006 – August 2006)- with the exception of Wednesday August 30th!

GLOW hosts three distinct discussion groups on a rotating basis (details of each group at the end of this message):

- The Coming-Out Discussion Group;
- The Heart-to-Heart Discussion Group; and
- The Diversity Discussion Group.

All three groups meet at the same location, room 373/378 (these are interconnecting rooms) of the Hagey Hall of the Humanities at the University of Waterloo on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm.

The Wednesday Night Discussion Groups are open to all members of the local queer community and their allies (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Transsexual, Two-Spirited, Intersexed, Queer, Questioning and Heterosexuals too!). Note that GLOW’s Discussion Groups are not restricted to Faculty, Staff and Students at the University of Waterloo- anyone from the local community is more than welcome to attend!
