Want to help foster a supportive, diverse, and accepting campus
community? Interested in helping to support other students? Just
looking for some volunteer experience? If any of those appeal to you,
then you should volunteer with GLOW!
Come to our GLOW and Women’s Centre Volunteer Training this Saturday!
Dr. Tracy Morgan of UW Counselling Services will show you how to
provide peer support, KW Sexual Assault Support Centre will help you
cultivate an anti-oppressive environment, and Dr. Barbara Schumacher
of UW Health Services will teach you the latest sexual health
information! Don’t worry about lunch, we’ll take care of that!
In person, on the phone, or both, we’ll be running training to hold
hours in the Community Centre (one hour training) or on the Phone Line
(multi-session training) very soon! So which ever (or both) you want
to volunteer for, first you’ll need this essential training!
***IMPORTANT*** If you do plan on attending, please ensure that you
either RSVP by emailing glow {at} feds.uwaterloo(.)ca or on Facebook:
http://www.new.facebook.com/home.php#/event.php?eid=39680333808 , as
we need to know how much food to order.

from 9:30am-5:00pm, and help make a difference on campus and
everywhere!
See you there!
