This is the initial training session, and volunteers who pass it will then take specific Community Centre or Peer Support Line training, depending on which they want to volunteer for.

The training will take place in the GLOW Community Centre (SLC 2101) on Thursday June 5th from 5-7pm. Please RSVP by emailing glow {at} feds.uwaterloo(.)ca as soon as possible.

Interested in Volunteering?

Monday, February 18th, 2008

For anyone interested in volunteering with GLOW, we will be having our peer-support training for the winter term on Tuesday February 26th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm in the GLOW Community Centre (SLC 2101). The training will be run by Dr. Tracy Morgan from Counselling Services. The peer-support training is part one of a mandatory two part training for anyone interested in holding hours in the Centre or doing phone line hours. This term we have only three people holding Centre hours and only two people doing phone hours, so if you are interested in volunteering, please come out for this training!
